Insomnia? I don't think that's what it's called. I think it's called nerve pains and loud frequency noises that are unbearable. I think it's called "have to have an awfully good almighty attitude" to keep the body and the spirit going every day. Not being able to sleep is actually the symptom of the vibration, the noise, and the heart palpitations.
Living at my previous house, the insomnia was a result of actual jolting nerve pains that regularly shot up into my head or into my entire arm, and my pet's body at the same time (she was under 2 years old and died prematurely, by the way). My sister came to visit me at that same house and said i needed to get out for my life. She customarily wore jewelry on her toes and all of them had red welts from staying at my house overnight.
I know what it is like to be sleep deprived for 10 years straight and still holding a smile but people looked at me like I was a mean person, because one can't look gentle and kind in the eyes anymore when one is fighting for one's mental health.
There should be a category for jolting nerve pains on this forum.
